Dr. Jeffrey Jaroscak joined Promise Academy as Executive Director in March of 2021. Dr. Jaroscak brings 33 years of experience in public education. He grew up in Euclid, Ohio and graduated from Euclid High School. He attended Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio where he graduated with a degree in Political Science and History. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Cleveland State University and a Doctorate in Administrator Leadership from Walden University. He taught American History and Government for eight years at Richmond Heights High School and then became a middle school assistant principal and principal in the Stow-Monroe Falls and Highland school districts. Dr. Jaroscak became the Director of Teaching and Learning at the Center for Leadership in Education where he worked with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to establish Early College High Schools across Ohio. He has ten years of experience with Community Schools in Ohio beginning with serving as the Founding Director of Fredrick Douglass Reclamation Academy, a credit recovery high school in Ohio. Most recently, Dr. Jaroscak served as a Regional Representative for the Educational Service Center of Lake Erie West where he worked with 10 community schools in Cuyahoga County. Jeff lives in Northfield Center with his wife, Susan.
