Re: Promise Academy Reopening following Winter Break
Dear Promise Academy Family:
I hope that this communication finds you in the midst of a peaceful and pleasant Winter Break. As you
are aware, Promise Academy will reopen to students on January 3, 2022. At this point, we are still
planning for a safe in-person return. The number of COVID cases, particularly the Omicron variant, are
on the rise. Cuyahoga County is being hit especially hard. Even vaccinated individuals are contracting
COVID and Omicron.
Our priority is the health and safety of our students, staff, and partners. We are in constant
communication with our sponsor, the county health department, and the Ohio Department of
Education. As we await the most current guidance from these organizations, we want to assure our
students, parents, families, and partners that we share information regarding the safe return to school
with you in as timely a manner as is possible.
We appreciate your patience and continued cooperation with our efforts to provide quality
educational programming in a safe manner. You can expect information regarding our reopening to be
provided via email, text message, robo-call, and social media.
